Harness Care uses first party cookies to handle user logins and profiles. Users may delete their cookies at any time through their web browser settings.

Harness Care does not use third party tracking or advertising cookies in Harness Care. Harness Care does not sell any data.

Harness Care users can share their healthcare and insurance plan data with parties they authorize. Consent to share data is managed by the user directly, and is managed at a per-party level within the Harness Care portal. Consent can be revoked at any time through the Harness Care portal.

Harness Care users can delete their data at any time by removing and deleting all the data connections within the Harness Care Portal. If Harness Care ever stops doing business or changes ownership through acquisition, users will receive an email giving them a chance to delete their data before new policies or deletions affect their data.

If the data connections are not deleted, and the user profile is not deleted, data will be retained indefinitely by Harness Care.

Harness Care collects several types of personal information to provide users with the Harness Care service, but this information is used exclusively in order to provide the application experience. Users can delete and modify most types of personal information directly within their Harness Care profile.

Harness Care stores all data sent to by users' medical and insurance plan providers that are connected by the user. Data can include users' complete medical record and insurance plan information and insurance claims data, including users' full name, home addresses, phone numbers, and all other basic or medical information. Users can view most of this data directly in the Harness Care app and users can delete data at any time.

Harness Care does not sell user data. All user data is exclusively used to provide the user with the Harness Care service.

Anonymized/aggregated data may be used by Harness Care solely to improve the product and user experience. Harness Care does not sell anonymized/aggregated data.

Harness Care only emails users to alert users of new activity including notifications about profile actions, such as profile creation.

Harness Care users may connect their phone number to receive and send text messages. This service can be stopped at any point by sending a text message "STOP" to the Harness Care phone number.

All data that users import into Harness Care may be viewed by authorized Harness Care employees when required in order to deliver the service to the user. This may include fixing and improving parts of the app when used with user healthcare data. Access to Harness Care databases and other files is only granted to employees on a need-to-know basis to minimize unnecessary access.

Data transfer and storage within Harness Care services use modern encryption and best practices to avoid unauthorized access. Passwords are one-way encrypted and unreadable by Harness Care personnel, all communication is over HTTPS, and Harness Care databases use encryption at rest. All data are stored on servers based in the United States. Harness Care services are intended for users based in the United States. Users from outside the United States should note that data will be transferred and stored in servers based in the United States for storage and processing.

In the unlikely event that our systems are breached, Harness Care will immediately address any issues and add more protection to prevent the issue from happening again. If any user personal information is compromised, Harness Care will notify that user of what was compromised and any recommended actions that should be taken.

Harness Care is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. By using this service, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the services.

Harness Care may make changes to this privacy policy at any time. The updated version will be indicated by a "revised" date, and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
